Conducting Summer Program
A fully-immersive practical conducting experience for musicians interested in developing their conducting skills. Daily podium time, up to 7 hours in total, with professional opera soloists, pianists and the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra, culminating in live concerts in both Vratsa and Pleven, Bulgaria.

What is the Waiting List?
As the 2024 Conducting Summer Program has reached its maximum capacity, we are now enrolling a Waiting List. Conductors who join the Waiting List will be awarded a spot on the program should one become available. If a spot does not become available, the conductor's deposit will be refunded in full.
What is an Inactive Participant?
We continue to accept enrollments for conductors who would like to join the program as an inactive participant. Inactive participants attend the full-length program and stay in the same hotel as the active conducting participants, but do not receive podium time. Inactive participants observe all instructional sessions, rehearsals, concerts and events. Price for this option: €1,500 (includes hotel)
