Kelsey Le Roux

South Africa

I began my musical journey at 14 by playing the saxophone. I did an undergrad in composition at Stellenbosch University. I started my undergrad thinking about pursuing a degree in classical saxophone performance but decided to redirect to composition. It was during this time I realised I loved composing for films. I studied for a master's in film scoring at The Film Scoring Academy of Europe. I love expressive and emotional music. As a film composer, I like scoring drama, fantasy, science fiction and romance. I have recently composed music for a short Irish fantasy-inspired short film.

Andres Feuillet

Colombia

Andrés Feuillet is a Colombian film composer and jazz drummer. He started playing drums at the age of three, but his love for music has grown out of the drums, which led him to learn composition with Grammy nominated arranger Juan Camilo Arboleda. Andrés has worked with members of the Sinfónica de Colombia, and last year he recorded nine compositions with the European Recording Orchestra as part of the 2022 Online Film Scoring Program. Now Andrés is headed to this year’s MFA as it brings him one step closer to being the lead composer for a major film.

Jackie Tianzuo

Canada

Jackie Tianzuo is a Canadian composer and musician who has led an unconventional journey to where he is now. He began learning classical piano at the age of 8, yet did not develop passion for music early on. He went on to complete dual Bachelor degrees, in neuroscience and business. However, during his time at University, he began composing music and fell in love with the creative process. This brought him to FSAE where he learned how to leverage his diversified background in scoring for media, through telling stories of wide-ranging emotions and creating unique soundscapes. He is currently composing music for indie-game developers and plans to continue his learning with a Master's in composition for media.
