Master of Fine Arts in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media

Eyleen

Eyleen Waberi (France/Djibouti)

Eyleen Waberi is a French-Djiboutian composer, sound engineer, and harpist. Raised between the Atlantic and the Red Sea, she grew up steeped in storytelling traditions, beginning her musical journey with the Celtic harp in her native Brittany at the age of six. She holds a Bachelor's in Sound Engineering and a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Game Scoring from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, blending technical mastery and music composition. Her writing, rooted in memory, identity, and a quiet fragility, has found its natural home on screen. She is currently composing for documentary projects in Paris and writing for film full-time.

Pere

Pere Gual (Spain)

Pere Gual is a Catalan musician from Barcelona. Since 2023, he has been the conductor of Penedès Film Orchestra, the only hybrid symphony orchestra in the region that mixes classical instruments with electronic elements. In addition to composing and orchestrating, Pere is also a specialist in creating orchestral mockups and orchestral mixing. He currently combines the artistic and musical direction of the orchestra with all kinds of work related to the world of music for image in his own studio.

Film Scoring Summer Programme

Sander

Sander Krokengen (Norway)

Sander is a Norwegian composer, musicologist, and music educator whose work bridges creative practice and academic research. He composes music for film and chamber ensembles, with a particular interest in narrative expression, musical structure, and emotional storytelling. Alongside his compositional work, he conducts musicological research focused on film music analysis, exploring the relationship between sound, image, and meaning. Based in Trondheim, he teaches music theory and is dedicated to fostering both artistic and analytical approaches to music. Through composition, scholarship, and education, he seeks to deepen the understanding of music as both an expressive art form and a subject of critical inquiry.
