Master of Fine Arts in Music for Motion Pictures and Contemporary Media

Manuela Solines

Manuela Solines (Ecuador)

Manuela is an Ecuador-based composer and songwriter whose work explores the intersection of texture, emotion, and cultural memory. Her music is rooted in quiet intensity, emphasizing sonic depth, subtle layering, and emotional clarity. With a foundation in ethnomusicological research, she draws from Ecuadorian traditions alongside a wider range of cultural and sonic references—archival materials, oral histories, and personal experience—to create works that reimagine heritage through a contemporary lens. Recent projects include Efímero (2025), an original EP; arrangements of music by Segundo Luis Moreno for concert performance; and the original score for the documentary Rotacismo.

Online Graduate Diploma in Film and Game Scoring

Jim Dalton

Jim Dalton (Belgium)

I am a Belgian aspiring film composer at the very start of my journey. After completing the online program at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, I launched my website and released my first compositions. I am now looking to collaborate with filmmakers on small visual projects as I continue building a portfolio and gaining experience. My music is often intimate, melancholic, and emotionally vulnerable, like fragments of my soul. I hope it resonates with those who hear it, and that it can find its place in the world of storytelling.

Film Scoring Summer Programme

Luka Vezmar

Luka Vezmar (Croatia / USA)

Luka Vezmar is a Croatian-American oboist, accordionist and composer. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Music at the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a dual degree in Oboe Performance and Composition. While his music spans many styles, he has a deep passion for film and film music. “I am fascinated by the way music can shape a story, evoke emotion, and bring scenes to life.” This has had a strong influence on his compositional voice, and he enjoys exploring how musical storytelling can cross genres and formats.
